Below is the SCW tutors’ work schedule for Fall semester, 2016.

SCW business hour is from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.

1. In principle, SCW does not accept the paper on the day of the visit.

This is to allow the tutors to be aware of their sessions and prepared for them in advance.

However, on Mondays, there are plenty of tutoring requests from those who couldn’t make their requests in time. Therefore, we only allow the same day request for Mondays if time permits.

Also, if the time slot of your choice is in the late afternoon, you could receive the same day tutoring service. However, this is possible only if the SCW schedule allows, so please make sure that you make a tutoring request in advance (at least a day before the date of your choice). Plus, if you make a request after 5 pm, please specify the second best date of your choice for more flexible arrangements.

2. The center schedules tutoring sessions at 3-4 pm everyday, so you must book your preferred session before that time.  

Regardless of the date of your choice, the tutoring session is assigned at 3-4 pm on the day before.

The earlier you make your request, the more likely the time of your first choice is to be assigned. Moreover, if you specify your available time in "other" section (selecting up to three time slots is a must), it is easy for us to assign the sessions without scheduling conflicts with other students. If your request conflicts with the SCW schedule, the staff member will contact you.

3. Once your tutoring session is assigned, SCW informs you of the time for your tutoring session via Sogang TalkTalk application. Please make sure you have put your current contact information (i.e., mobile phone numbers)!

Oftentimes, your home phone number or your previous mobile number is registered on SAINT. Even when you update your contact information on SAINT, it is not linked on the center’s website automatically. (Changes on SAINT are updated at the beginning of each semester.) Therefore, please make sure that you have put your current contact information on "other" section so that we can reach you promptly.

Also, if you haven’t downloaded Sogang TalkTalk, you can’t get the message from SCW. In this case, either download the app on your smart phone or check SCW website for your tutoring session after 5 pm.
